Improved Interface
- Calendar Sheets Tabs. Tabs are located above the main Calendar View making it easier to switch between the Calendar Sheets. You can assign specific color codes to the certain Calendar Sheets. Don’t like to have red for your Shopping Expenses Calendar? Simply change to one of the other available colors.
- My Calendar Button. All your Folders and Calendar Sheets are now found in a single button for easy access.
- Today Button. The Today Button will quickly bring you back to the current day. Daydream about your next vacation and scroll to that date on the calendar. Then click the Today Button, and you are back to reality.
Icon-based representation of information
- Colorful Icons. Hundreds of beautiful icons arranged in collections are available to represent your unique events. They help you to quickly get information just by glancing at them. A Bossdesk Calendar Event is more than just a picture – it is also a valuable way to store data. For example, a "Property Tax" event can store data about the bill reference number, due date, payment amount and payment method.
Browsing and Navigation
- Back & Forward Buttons. Allows you to navigate through Calendar Sheets you have recently visited.
- Task Pane > Folders. Folders Section in the Task Pane shows all your Folders with Calendar Sheets. You can quickly switch between calendar sheets which are located in different folders. Calendar Sheet properties and other features are also accessible from the Task Pane.
- Task Pane > Calendar. You can navigate through the different dates clicking on the days with yearly calendar displayed in the Task Pane.
- Navigation in the Day View. Use the Day Tabs on the right side to navigate through the days of the month. Or use the day navigation buttons.
Easy Search
- Quickly find events in your calendars using the Quick Search option (Ctrl+F) or using the Search section in the Task Pane to see all instances of your search at once.
Custom Properties
- A Bossdesk Calendar allows you to create your own custom properties which you could link to the Event Templates. Once you have created, for example a Group “Exam” with a set of custom properties “Title”, “Max Score”, “Pass Score” etc. and assigned the default values if needed, you can link this group to the different
- Event Templates. You just drag an event template to the Calendar Sheet and a newly created event already has all the custom properties with the default values. It reduces amount of typing you do and increases your productivity.
Build-in reports
- Bossdesk Calendar helps you keep track of all your events and information linked to them. The Bossdesk Calendar will quickly analyze your data and give you a visual presentation in just a few clicks. Your academic performance, financial situation, weight loss progress, travel expenses, everything what is important to you will be quickly analyzed and presented.
Export to Excel
- Bossdesk Calendar can export your report data to Microsoft Excel. You can create your own customized reports, graphs and charts in Microsoft Excel by exporting your report data to comma separated values text file (.csv).
Recurring Events
- Quickly create Events that are repeated every day, every 2 weeks, every month, on the last week day and more. Look ahead and create recurring events to plan your budget.
Privacy
- Bossdesk Calendar works offline, all your information stays on your local computer.
Sharing
- Just take a snapshot and share your calendars with others send it to your friends, family members or business partners. Bossdesk Calendar Viewer is free. Bossdesk Calendar also supports standard ICS format for calendar appointment exchange supported by Google Calendar, Outlook, Thunderbird, iCal, Yahoo! Calendar and many others.
Print colorful calendars
- Print colorful monthly calendars, day schedules, reports and charts. Remind yourself of daily tasks, maintenance, budgeting, help with parenting and more. Print calendars and place them in a sheet protector for use – write on, wipe off and hang anywhere.
Time Zone support
- For traveling users, Bossdesk Calendar has the option to view the calendar in a different time zone than the one you are currently in.
Moon Phases
- Lunar Calendar is another nice feature of Bossdesk Calendar. Mini icons located below calendar dates representing the four moon phases.
